Noah’s Ark Zoo is a unique hands-on zoo located just outside Bristol and set in over 100 acres of beautiful countryside. With over 100 different species you can get up close with animals of all sizes, from Bears to Meerkats, and Elephants to Owls, you’ll experience all the animal kingdom has to offer.
Noah’s Ark are passionate about caring for our animals and invite visitors to have fun-filled, educational and exciting animal experiences through hands-on animal encounters, exhibits and keeper talks. Every 15 minutes you can enjoy an exciting zoo keeper talk from our dedicated keepers; watch the keepers feed the Big Cats, or the Elephants doing their daily training for health checks or you can even feed a Giraffe yourself.
If you want to get even closer with the animals, why not take part in a behind the scenes keeper experience with one of the big zoo animals. Get up close and feed a Giraffe, or meet our loveable Primates and Meerkats. For those of you who don’t have two hours to spare they also offer 20 minute encounters throughout the day with some of the zoo favourites.
Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm is the perfect venue for your birthday party inside or out! With an indoor animal themed party room, hot or cold food, your own private animal handling session and access to our indoor and outdoor play, your party will be the talk of the town.
As winners of awards such as the Gold Award in the Green Tourism Business Scheme and the ‘Sustainable Tourism’ award (2016) from the Bristol, Bath and Somerset Tourism Awards, sustainability is at the heart of what we do. Just take a look around our site and see our efforts for yourself!
New for 2018, Noah’s Ark is proud to open its Ark for All, opened by Paralympian Andy Lewis. This includes the new Changing Places toilet with hoist and changing bed, accessible signage, a wheelchair accessible roundabout and basket swings.
After a full day of fun at the zoo you’ll certainly have worked up an appetite. They have plenty of picnic tables around the zoo for you to stop and enjoy a bite to eat surrounded by the animals.
